Update on the OpenKiosk rewrite. Features
implemented so far are, support for save/load of local and
remote settings and filter files, floating nav for fullscreen
mode, complete rewrite of filterURI engine, supported
languages and OSK (da,de,fr,es-ES,it), full touchscreen support, touch
access to settings, complete secure lockdown, full hardware/software
integration, bug fixes, currently running Firefox 151,
autoupdates, screensaver, UI improvements, and more too numerous to list.
Essentially, every feature request since 2005 has or is being implemented.
Description
OpenKiosk is a cross platform kiosk web browser based on Mozilla Firefox that can be easily installed and used to secure a computer for use as a public terminal. This is a complete solution for any kiosk installation. This software is released under the MPL "as is" with no warranty or support. Currently deployed in schools, universities, libraries, hospitals, airports, hotels, governments, and businesses across the globe.
